CYBER-CHIPS?

The purpose of this program is to aid in teaching new carvers and promote membership in the state organization.

The Billings and Missoula clubs will have two sets of tools to loan out to teachers to aid in teaching new carvers.

There would be two palm sets and two bench knives at each club, these tools will be purchased by the State Organization at cost from Western Carving and Glacier Carving.

The tools will be maintained by the clubs interested in them. The clubs will come up with a form used to sign them out, designating to whom they are to be loaned to and for how long.

It would be a good idea to take a credit card number and expiration date to keep on file to assure the return of the tools and assure that they are in good condition when returned.

If the tools need to be sharpened , repaired or replaced the credit card could be charged for the amount necessary to sharpen, repair or replace said tool or tools, also this would assure that the tools were taken care of and returned.

The clubs would assume the responsibility for the care and upkeep of the tools. We will try two sets at this time, if it works out ok more could be supplied if needed and the MWA approves the funds.
